Graphic Design Intern - Geocon (13/08/2018 - 25/09/2018)

By working within the marketing team at Geocon, this role allowed me to gain industry experience as a Graphic Designer.  It involved designing marketing collateral and web content to advertise different building developments and projects around Canberra.

WORK EXPERIENCE:

Regulatory Officer - Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (October 2019 - current)

Working within a complex administrative environment to efficiently and accurately assess and process applications and other documents for registration of health practitioners in line with current legislation, policy and procedures and the delegated authority of the relevant health profession Board • Working within the registration case management stream primarily relating to inherent restrictions as well as audit requiring attention to detail, assessment and mitigation of risk and timely assessment of information • communicating with practitioner’s to respond to queries relating to registration • adapting to new streams of work where required to assist other teams and prioritising tasks and time to effectively manage multiple workloads across different professions.

Admissions Officer - University of Canberra (Jul 2017 - October 2019)

This role involves tasks such as issuing offer letters to domestic and international current and prospective students, communicating with international agents regarding student applications, liaising with senior staff and management to reach conclusions and using different software to process administrative tasks and answer general enquiries from staff and students.  Through these varying tasks, this role has greatly improved my initiative and problem solving skills as well requires critical thought to reach conclusions.

 

Client Services Officer - University of Canberra (Aug 2014 - Sept 2015, Jan 2017 - July 2017)

Through face to face customer service as well as call centre duties, this role greatly improved my customer service skills.  It involved various tasks such as undertaking investigative work for resolution of student matters as well as providing information and advice to current and potential students and University staff.

 

Client Services Administrator  - Findex Group (Sept 2015 - Feb 2016)

Through liaising with financial planning and accounting advisors, this role further improved my communication skills and initiative.  It introduced basic accounting practices and involved client service tasks such as calling clients, data entry, updating files as well as relief of receptionist duties.

 

Head Coach/ Kumon Instructor (Nov 2009 - Sept 2014)
This role allowed me to develop a number of important skills.  By working under pressure to deal with competing demands from students, helped to not only develop my communication and management skills, but greatly improved my prioritisation skills as well.
